Vanilla-Trade was founded with the goal of establishing original Mexican vanilla as a strong presence in the global market. We are a leading Mexican company committed to sustainable and socially responsible vanilla cultivation by promoting and supporting small producers.
We have our own vanilla plantations and bring small farmers together in cooperatives, increase national vanilla production, expand vanilla cultivation to various local communities, and promote organic farming with consideration for the environment and fair distribution. In this way, we contribute to the development and support of local communities.

Increasing the production volume of the original and first vanilla in the world, which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage for the cultural significance of food ingredients in Mexico and today accounts for no more than 1–3% of global vanilla production.
Development of a sustainable, traceable, and high-quality supply chain that respects the integrity of natural ecosystems and helps improve the living conditions of vanilla-growing communities throughout Mexico. We support the formation of cooperatives, organic farming, rainforest conservation, fair prices, and the further development of local communities. This direct trade model enables us to pay farmers a premium price for exceptional vanilla beans while still offering our customers competitive prices.
Preservation of tropical rainforests—a source of high CO₂ sequestration—by promoting vanilla cultivation in mixed cultures, for example with cacao or coffee, to contribute to profitable agroforestry. For this purpose, we provide knowledge transfer, plants, and tools.

Development of sustainable vanilla production in an agroforestry environment as a primary or secondary cash crop, to ensure producers a stable income and to improve their productivity and earnings.
Organization and structuring of producer associations (organization, provision of know-how, plants and tools, training, quality through good cultivation practices, organic farming).
Ensuring that producers receive a fair price for their products by providing them with a base price and a share in the actual sales price.
Traceability through the implementation of a system that allows vanilla to be traced from the cultivation area to its final destination.
Retention of a percentage of sales to support sustainable conservation measures in protected areas.
